Project VIDA

Project Vida is a non-profit organization that provides youths and families in the community HIV education and support. The mural, which was initiated to mark the 20th Anniversary of Project VIDA, was created by mostly LGBTQ youth of the Little Village, North Lawndale, Cicero, and other south side communities. Project VIDA is a graffiti style mural that includes mosaic elements, mirror, and a unique spray-gunned façade of bright orange, yellow, blue, and green.
