Information:  Students working with Moriarty designed and fabricated this mural to reinforce a respect for learning and for learning to respect. Its imagery combines the subtle (a school turned onto its side) and the obvious (the word “Learning”) to create layers of meaning. Open interpretation is reinforced by the open-ended-ness of some of the tile designs and the use of strong negative space.
